Micheal Jackson

Part of my childhood died yesterday. The death of Micheal Jackson was shocking. Finished work yesterday. Came home my husband took my dogs to the vet to get their annual shots and took my daughter to see a new yarn store in Newmarket Ontario called Serenity. While driving I was listening to Chum Fm and they mentioned that the King of Pop Dead at 50. I couldn't believe what I heard. WOW!I remember as a child begging for parachute pants. Seeing boys wear his thriller red jacket and trying to mimic his famous moon walk. The weird silver glove he used to wear. The grabbing of his crotch and his high pitched eeee! eeeeee!! Seeing the Thriller video for the first time as a kid scared me. His incredible dance moves. And wondering why such a Big star can be so shy. He had a gentle soul...a child at heart. I loved his spirit of his kindness, music genius and creativeness. Always thinking ahead. The world will miss him and his music will live on in our memories, especially those of us over the age of 30. Rest in Peace MJ.

Forgive me

My Family-- I am spending lots of time this summer with them.

It has been awhile since I posted any thing. I have shut down my ezine for now but will plan to relaunch it in the near future. I have several projects on the go. Some are completed and some are a work in progress. It is taking me so long because I am now in the process of writing the patterns out so I can share them with all of you. That's the problem. I need to relearn how to write a proper pattern since I always used charts or blue prints as they are called. So writing them out with words is a challenge for me but will post them once they are done.
Projects to be posted are:
A pair of socks----still in progress- gift for a friend at work
Flower scarf------need to attach them together--for a friend at work
Fillet jacket- Done- need to scan the pattern in my computer
Draw string sweater- done- need to write the pattern
Hoodie- need to finishe and then write the pattern

So yes I will be busy trying to get these to you and believe me when I am done your wait will be worth it.
So keep checking in on me. I also joined www.Ravelry.com and have a crochet group called Twitchy Fingers of Ontario Canada. Come join.
